Dave is available at Spring City from the Burlington Location on a part time basis. He has a wide variety of experience in all areas of aviation. Dave began flying in 1967 and obtained his private, then commercial multi-engine land and Flight Instructor certificates shortly after as well as his single engine sea rating. He also holds his Airframe and Powerplant certificates with his Inspection Authorization allowing him to do all required aircraft maintenance. Dave was in the USAF from 1969 through 1973 as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist assigned to the T-39 Saberliner as the Flying Status Crew Chief. He later worked for General Motors for nearly 30 years, then Burlington Air Center for about 8 years and now is working to restore a 1953 Cessna 180. With around 2,000 hours of flight time, Dave continues to enjoy teaching and instructing tomorrow’s pilots here at Spring City Aviation.
